In 2017 St George in Bloom received a grant of £5,000 from the Tesco’s ‘Bags of Help’
The grant enabled us to enhance areas of St George in Bristol with colourful planting
schemes, and local environmental enhancement projects.

OUR LOCAL ST GEORGE IN BLOOM COMPETITION 2021.
Due to the Covid pandemic we have cancelled our local competition for 2021.
We hope to fully reinstate our competition again next year in 2022.
A PHOTOGRAPHIC CELEBRATION OF St GEORGE’S GLORIOUS GREEN SPACES IN 2021.
However ,we now invite local residents, Allotment groups, Church and faith groups,
Shops and businesses to send us photos
by email of local front & rear gardens, local allotment sites, streets with floral
displays, photos of local wildlife, & parks and green spaces that are located within
St George in Bristol. Hanging baskets, window boxes planted pots can also be included
along with any horticultural displays, including fruit and vegetables.
We also welcome photos of children's gardening & horticultural efforts that are accompanied
by their parents permission.
The photos will be posted on this website from this summer and into early Autumn.
